The Terrabytes Glitch Lab, a phygital collective founded by Augusto Calçada and Xristina Sarli, announces the launch of the TTTLab Official VR World. Developed during their online interaction with participants of the TTTlabs BioFeral.BeachCamp Fall 2024 on the island of Crete from September 15 to 25, this immersive virtual reality project brings together artists, researchers, and technologists to explore new forms of creative expression that blend the digital and physical worlds.

The TTTLab Official VR World reflects Terrabytes Glitch Lab’s commitment to open-source innovation, connecting bio-life, technology, and art in a collaborative digital platform. Through this project, the Lab fosters inclusivity and creativity by amplifying a shared digital space where global participants can engage with one another, regardless of location, to explore the future of art and technology.

The Ionian University is now presenting the last of three TTTlabs BioFeral.BeachCamp (BFBC): NewRepro-FlaOctomingopus (NR-FO) - Non-Human Bioart/Bodyart on the Beach (NH-BB) taking place on Sept 15-25, 2024 on the island of Crete. TTTlabs BioFeral.BeachCamp (BFBC) is a durational highly speculative autonomous skill-share event of intense co-creation, co-education and co-development.

In a time of extraordinary scientific advances and ethical dilemmas in the fields of bioinformatics, new reproductive technologies, transgenic germline alterations, and animal behavior studies, TTTlabs III: New Repro-FlaOctomingopus (NR-FO) - Non-Human Bioart/Bodyart on the Beach offers an invitation to rethink new reproductive technologies and concepts: artificial womb, birth control, ovum pickup, eco-burial, cryogenics, embryo grades, implantation/surrogacy, genital development, semi-living death studies, selective reduction, posthuman family planning, and transgenic germline tailoring.
